Our Philosophy
We believe that children learn to be independent by being secure in the dependability of their care giver. At Blossoms Childcare, we will always give love when it is needed and challenge the children to expand their capabilities to be self-sufficient. We also believe in always giving children a voice by listening to them through words and actions, giving validation to the importance of what they are feeling and giving a name to their feelings. We will create a safe environment for children to express themselves, therefore heightening their self-esteem and promoting their resilience. This is fundamental to the foundation of a healthy psyche. When this happens, we help develop children who are capable, creative and able to contribute to a loving community. We have based our philosophy on Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs, making sure the children in our care are always on the third level of the pyramid. As the fundamental needs of the children are met, their capacity for growth and relationships becomes endless.
